Singer / Songwriter
Melissa has sung professionally with numerous well known
Cover Bands and Original Bands throughout Australia. Covering
a vast range of genres from Jazz to Top 40 Pop Hits to Retro,
she has toured both as lead and backing vocalist and performed
in pubs, clubs, and festivals and featured on other solo
artists’ albums. Some of the highlights of her career
include singing on the Parisian P&O Cruise Ship, Sydney
Cricket Ground and at the annual Adelaide Jazz Festival.
Throughout the past five years Melissa has concentrated on
honing her song writing and producing talents. During this
time we have seen the release of two original solo albums,
two EPs and her forthcoming Single ‘Spider’ to
be released in August 2004. In 2000 she won 1st Place in
the Drum Media Songwriters Competition with the song ‘Know
Me’ and in 2003 gained club, radio, TV & film score
exposure with her dance track ‘Angel.’
Dancer
Dancing and Dance Music have always been two of Melissa’s
greatest passions and she has had the opportunity to enjoy
both whilst working as a professional dancer in music video
clips, shows and clubs. Melissa has trained and performed
with the Janice Breen ‘Breen Machine Dancers’ and
has also taught various styles of dance over the years.
Radio
Melissa has earnt huge recognition, numerous awards and
a legion of fans as a radio announcer and voice-over specialist.
She has worked on test broadcasts for Sydney radio and worked
as a resident radio announcer and programmer for 2CCR 90.5FM
over a period of five years, with three weekly programmes ‘Soundwest’, ‘Hit
Pix’ and ‘Hip Kids’.
Trivia Host
Melissa worked as a Trivia Host in pubs and clubs for the
company ‘Complete Trivia.’ This included being
the promotional face of ‘Complete Trivia’ and
a four-year residency at The Mosman Club and numerous corporate
functions.
Karaoke Host
In 1997 Melissa spent a brief time working as a Karaoke
Host for the company ‘Strictly Karaoke’ working
in venues all over Sydney.
Television
Melissa began working on television commercials at the early
age of six months and although television and films have
not been her first love or career priority she has managed
to achieve a list of impressive credits including:

advertising for Pepsi
- Television Commercials
- Music Video Clips
- Music Promotions and Management
Throughout the past ten years Melissa has gained the respect
and friendship of fellow Sydney musicians for her tireless
work and support of unsigned acts. She has managed, booked,
produced promotional packages, designed posters, written
press releases, organised press interviews, organised tours
and put together CD Launches for many famous and popular
unsigned acts, cover bands and touring artists. Here is a

you may recognise a few: The Fargone Beauties, The Hooley
Dooleys, Don Spencer, Jukebox 90, Dirty Deeds, Noel Evans,
Seattle Sound, Alabaster, Funhouse, Myxomatosis plus many
